The Cornish Arms is a traditional pub in St Merryn, just a few miles from Padstow and the north Cornwall coast. Dogs are welcome inside, so you can bring the whole crew in from a beach walk without splitting up.

The pub serves food daily and the dog can settle under the table while you eat. The kitchen is open every day from 12 noon to 9.30 pm and the pub itself serves until 11 pm.

The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious, with a village-local feel that works equally well for visitors doing the Seven Bays circuit or simply looking for a good dog-friendly stop near Padstow. There's no on-site parking, but it's a useful base for the St Merryn area and an easy detour if you're touring the north coast with a sandy, hungry dog in tow.
