The Crown & Thistle is a traditional Cumbrian country pub with log fires and a cosy friendly atmosphere. We offer fantastic food using the very best of what Cumbria has to offer, supporting local farmers, butchers & suppliers.

Set in the beautiful village of Rockcliffe less than 5 miles from Carlisle city centre & just 4 miles from Scotland overlooking the Solway Marshland The Crown & Thistle is the perfect country pub. Dog friendly, local ales, log fire & homemade food using local Cumbrian produce.

Young children under the age of 11 are welcome in the pub until 7.30/8.00pm
