The Crown is a village pub in Brompton on Swale, just east of Richmond, where dogs are welcome inside. You can settle in for a pint with the lead under the table, or stay for a proper meal with your table supervisor on duty. The kitchen serves food throughout the week and there's a full breakfast on Saturday mornings if you're fuelling up early.

It's a handy stop for Dales-bound visitors, with motorhome stopover space available if you're breaking the journey with four legs in tow. The pub opens until midnight on Friday and Saturday and late morning on Sundays, so you've got flexibility whether you're passing through or planning a longer rest.

Expect a normal public pub atmosphere with drinks, food and occasional live entertainment. No fuss, just a straightforward dog-friendly table and a chance to sit down together without the usual juggling act.
