Right by the River Avon, The Dirty Duck is one of those Stratford stops that feels built for a dog-friendly day out. This Grade II listed pub brings heaps of character, waterside views, a beer garden and plenty of cosy corners for a post-walk settle. It has long been known as a Stratford favourite, and the setting makes it especially handy if you are sightseeing near the theatre or stretching legs along the river first. Food, drinks and a properly historic pub feel make it an easy choice when you want somewhere relaxed but still memorable. Best of all for TDFM purposes, dogs are welcome, so nobody has to do the awkward “wait outside with the lead” routine.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside at The Dirty Duck, making it a great Stratford stop after riverside walks or theatre wandering. Expect a relaxed pub atmosphere where dogs can settle under the table while humans enjoy food and drinks. Water bowls are usually available, and well-behaved pups are happily part of the pub scene.
