The Dolphin is a traditional family-friendly Whitby pub with some of the best harbour views in town, making it a strong pick for a meal or drink with a proper seaside backdrop. It blends a homely, dependable pub feel with a prime location, so it works well whether you are stopping for lunch, dinner, or a sit-down pause after exploring the front.
There is a comfortable, classic quality to it that suits Whitby very well. A lovely all-rounder for dog-friendly days when you want somewhere scenic, familiar, and nicely rooted in the harbour atmosphere.
