The Fleece is a village pub in Addingham, just a few miles from Ilkley, where dogs are welcome inside the bar area. It's a proper stop for Wharfedale walkers and anyone navigating the area with a dog in tow, with fires, a seafood-led menu and the kind of atmosphere that makes settling in easy. Dogs can join you in the bar while you eat – food is served throughout the space, so there's no need to split the group or leave anyone outside.
Keep them on the lead and reasonably settled and you're all set. The pub is open daily from midday, with food service running until 8pm on Sundays and 8:30pm Monday to Saturday.
There's also a weekend brunch sitting if you're planning a lazy start. It's a useful, dog-friendly anchor on the Addingham side of the valley.
