That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

This is one of those seaside cafés that feels like it’s been doing things properly for a long time — because it has. Family-run and right by the coast, it’s built around that simple formula of good food, good portions, and a place you can actually sit and enjoy it without being rushed.
The menu leans into the classics — breakfasts, lunches, cakes, and proper cups of tea — the kind of food that works perfectly after a windy seafront walk or before one. It’s not trying to be trendy, it’s trying to be reliable… and that’s exactly why it works.
There’s a relaxed, easy rhythm to the place, with people settling in rather than passing through. And importantly, dogs are part of that rhythm too. This is very much a “bring the dog with you” stop, where nobody’s hovering at the door or doing the awkward handover while ordering.
It’s simple, welcoming, and exactly what you want from a coastal café — somewhere to pause, refuel, and carry on your wander with a dog who’s fully included in the plan. 🐾
