The Fox Tap

The Fox Tap is the brewery taproom for Keswick Brewing Company, tucked down Brewery Lane just a couple of minutes from the centre of Keswick. Dogs are welcome inside the bar, so the whole group can settle in together without anyone drawing the short straw on pavement duty.

The bar is open Tuesday to Saturday from 2pm to 7pm — a well-timed stop for a mid-afternoon pint after a walk or an early-evening wind-down before dinner. Up to six cask and four keg beers are on tap at any one time, all brewed a few feet away, alongside bottled and canned options, spirits, wines, ciders and soft drinks.

It's the kind of place where your dog gets a nod of recognition and you get to taste exactly what's been brewed next door. Inside and outside tables are available, no booking needed, making it an easy and genuinely dog-friendly base in the heart of Keswick.
