The Frog on the Bine is a small but much-loved microbar right in the centre of Buxton, run by a local couple who focus on independent craft beer, rotating cask and keg lines, interesting bottles and a drinks board that keeps things fresh. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement shuffle while someone else enjoys the atmosphere.

Downstairs is cosy and social, while upstairs gives you a little more space to settle in. There's no full kitchen, so this is one for drinks rather than dining — perfect for a pre-dinner stop, a post-walk wind-down, or an easy evening when Buxton starts to feel properly cosy.

It's got that easy, conversation-led atmosphere where people chat, recommendations flow, and one drink quietly turns into another. Water bowls and treats are available, so paws stay settled while you relax with something interesting from the board.
