The George Inn

The George Inn is a traditional village pub in Croscombe on the Wells side of the village, serving food and local pints in a proper bar atmosphere. Dogs are welcome inside the pub, so the whole group can settle in together at the table without anyone being marooned outside with a lead and a pint of regret.

Food is served daily, with breakfast, lunch and evening service Monday to Saturday and all-day Sunday roasts. The menu runs from hearty pub classics to lighter bites and your dog can supervise proceedings from their preferred spot under the table.

There's venue-owned parking on site, which takes the sting out of arrival with boots, bags and a keen nose already plotting the next walk. The pub also offers rooms if you're staying over and the surrounding Somerset countryside delivers plenty of lanes and footpaths for pre-dinner sniff breaks.
