The Globe Inn sits on the Military Road edge of Rye, a handy stop for walkers coming in from the Landgate side and anyone wanting a proper pub meal with their dog alongside. Dogs are welcome inside and food is served in the dog-friendly area throughout the week.

The kitchen runs from midday to half eight Monday to Thursday, extending to 9pm on Friday and Saturday, with breakfast and lunch served from 9am at weekends. It's a straightforward pub operation with table bookings and a full drinks menu, so you can settle in for a bite or just a break without splitting the group.

The pub opens daily, staying open until 10pm Sunday to Thursday and 11pm Friday and Saturday. Useful if you're visiting Rye and want somewhere reliable that genuinely welcomes dogs inside rather than pointing you to a corner by the door.
