The Gurnard's Head is a dog-friendly dining pub with rooms on Cornwall's Atlantic coast, set between St Ives and St Just near Zennor. Dogs are welcome inside the bar area, so there's no pavement-waiting shuffle after a long coastal walk — paws and people can settle in together from the moment you arrive.
The seasonal menu leans on dayboat seafood, locally reared meats and foraged ingredients, with lunch served 12–2:30pm (Sunday until 3pm) and supper from 6–9pm. The pub opens daily from 10am for coffee and tea, making it a useful stop whatever the weather. On-site parking takes the stress out of the approach, and the bar's roaring fire and bookshelves make it easy to linger.
Worth booking a dog-friendly table in advance — it's a popular spot with walkers and their dogs, and the team likes to make sure there's a good spot waiting for everyone, four legs included.
