The Hermit Inn is a moor-edge pub and inn on the outskirts of Ilkley where dogs are welcome inside the bar and dining areas. You can sit down for a drink or meal with your dog by your side and there's a treat jar waiting at the bar for four-legged regulars.
Food is served lunchtimes and evenings, so whether you're wrapping up a moorland walk or just passing through, the whole party can settle in together. The menu runs from noon through to late evening most days and the pub is open Monday to Saturday until 11pm, Sundays until 10:30pm.
This is classic walker and road-tripper territory: a proper Yorkshire inn where dogs get a warm welcome, lead logistics are understood and nobody minds a bit of moor dust. Lunch runs until 3pm on weekdays, all day at weekends, with evening service picking up from 5pm during the week.
