The Ink Spot

The Ink Spot is a compact micropub in the centre of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea where dogs are welcome inside alongside the craft beer and bottle-shop browsing. It's the sort of place where your spaniel can settle by the bar while you choose something for the fridge at home and something for right now.

The atmosphere is relaxed and eclectic and the focus is squarely on good beer rather than full menus or table service. Opening hours run from early evening most days, with weekend afternoon starts on Saturday and Sunday.

It's closed on Tuesdays. The location is handy for the beach, promenade and Front Street, so it works well as a pre-walk pit stop or a post-promenade pint when nobody fancies the pavement-duty shuffle.
