The Inkerman Arms is a village pub in Rye Harbour where dogs are welcome inside, including in the dining area. It's a proper harbour-edge local that serves food and pints to walkers, visitors and anyone who's just spent an hour being towed along the reserve paths by an over-enthusiastic terrier. You can settle in with your dog under the table for lunch, dinner or a post-walk drink.
The pub opens at 8.30am Monday to Sunday and stays open until 11pm on weekdays and half-past midnight at weekends. There's on-site parking, which makes wet-paw logistics considerably easier.
The Inkerman Arms sits in Rye Harbour village and is particularly useful for anyone tackling the reserve or exploring the harbour. Dogs are welcome throughout, so you don't have to split the group or leave anyone watching from the car park.
