The Inverness Castle Experience is a central Inverness visitor attraction offering an immersive castle and museum experience with timed-entry tickets, seasonal family activities and historic gardens. While the indoor Castle Experience is open to assistance dogs only, ordinary pet dogs on a lead are welcome in the Gardens, making it a useful stopping point if you're sightseeing in the city centre with your dog.

The attraction is open daily from 10am to 7pm and pre-booking is recommended, though tickets can also be bought at the entrance subject to availability. Four accessible parking spaces are available on site for Blue Badge holders and must be pre-booked.

Dogs on a lead can join you in the Gardens while the rest of your group explores the castle interior, or you can enjoy a quieter outdoor break between other dog-friendly stops around Inverness. It's a straightforward arrangement: the gardens are theirs, the immersive experience is for people only.
