That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

The Joiners Arms is a proper “end of the walk” pub, where you can finally sit down and your dog can dramatically collapse like they’ve been trekking across the Pennines. It’s ideal for a relaxed drink, a catch-up, or a meal that tastes even better because you’ve earned it with a brisk loop and a pocket full of treats. The vibe is warm and unfussy, so you don’t feel like you need to apologise for damp coats or a slightly soggy lead. Your dog gets prime people-watching and a steady stream of “who’s a good one?” attention. You get a cosy base to refuel before heading back out into Lincoln. Bring a chew for under the table, unless your dog’s hobby is staring at you with the intensity of a tiny food critic.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Treats available

Doggy Menu available

Dog Policy:

Well behaved dogs on leads are always warmly welcomed inside here,
