The Keys Bar is a compact whisky bar in the centre of St Andrews where dogs are welcome inside. Tucked on Market Street, it's the sort of place you can drop into for a dram and a bite without leaving your dog tied up outside in the rain. Light food is served and the atmosphere suits a quick lunch or an easy end-of-day drink with your lead still looped over one arm.

All well-behaved dogs are welcome and free biscuits are available on request at the bar. It's a proper pub setting with a traditional feel, so your dog can settle under the table while you choose from the whisky selection or order something from the short food menu.

The bar opens at 10am most days and stays open late, making it a flexible stop whether you're starting a day's exploring or winding down after a walk along the coast. There's no on-site parking, but the central location means it's an easy walk from anywhere in town.
