The Kingslodge Inn is a central Durham hotel with a public bar and restaurant where dogs are welcome inside in designated areas. It's a useful stop for visitors arriving by road or on foot from the city centre and the dog-friendly sections run throughout the day from early breakfast to evening service.
Food is served from 7:30 am until 9 pm daily, so you can plan around morning porridge, a long lunch or an early supper without leaving your dog behind. Sir Woofchester's range is available and the whole group can settle in comfortably while your dog supervises proceedings from under the table.
The inn is open from 7:30 am to 11 pm every day, giving plenty of scope for a drink, a meal or a pit-stop between Durham explorations. It's the kind of place that makes city visits with dogs a good deal more straightforward.
