That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

The Leopard in Chester is a bold, modern pub right in the heart of the city, and dogs are welcome inside across both floors. It's built for lively catch-ups, sports on screen, and those "just one drink" visits that quietly turn into a full evening, with paws allowed to join the buzz.
Inside, it's all clean finishes, bright spaces, and plenty of room to settle in with a lead-wearing companion. Upstairs brings a slightly different pace with a lounge feel and access to a rooftop terrace that comes into its own when the sun shows up. It's very much a drinks-first kind of place, with a strong line-up of beers, wines, and everything in between, plus regular live sport to keep the atmosphere ticking along.
This is one for groups, easy-going nights out, and those moments where you want somewhere buzzing but not chaotic—and nobody needs to do the pavement shuffle while the rest of the group heads in. A proper "meet here and see where the night goes" sort of spot, with four paws factored in.
Good to know:

Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside across both floors, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle. Keep them on lead and paws off the furniture.
