Days Out Are For Dogs Too

The Lion Inn in Thurne, near Great Yarmouth, is a lively Norfolk Broads pub where dogs are welcome inside the bar and snug areas. Think big, welcoming pub rooms, roaring log fires in winter, a generous garden for summer pints and proper pub grub that ranges from juicy burgers and pizzas to classic British mains.
With one of the biggest selections of beers and ciders on the Broads, lively quiz nights, seasonal events and plenty of outdoor seating, it's the sort of place you stay longer than you planned. Day visitors, boaters and locals all congregate here for good food, good drinks and an easygoing atmosphere.
Dogs get their own water bowl, and booking is highly advisable as space is limited. After rambling, broads wanderings or mooring up nearby, it's an earned rest with paws and people together.
