That’s our way of flagging the places that go further — beyond “dogs allowed”, with a genuinely warm welcome for dogs inside.

Indoor Welcome Last Verified:

The Locker is a bright, art-filled café just off King Street in Cambridge, where dogs are welcome inside. Light walls, plants and rotating local artwork give it a calm, creative feel — somewhere you drift into rather than rush through, and nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle.

The menu leans into speciality coffee, brunch favourites and homemade cakes, with plenty of vegan and gluten-free options woven in. It's more "take your time" than quick stop — the kind of place where one coffee turns into food, then another coffee, and no one's questioning it.

Perfect for slower mornings or post-walk resets when you want to properly sit down and recharge, with dogs settling in while you ease into the rhythm of the space.
