Indoor Welcome Last Verified:

20 Oct 2026

The Lord Burghley is a traditional pub on Broad Street in the heart of Stamford, where dogs are welcome inside alongside you. Settle in by the bar or find a spot at a table and your under-table supervisor can stay firmly on duty while you take a proper break.

It's a solid central option when you're navigating Stamford's stone streets with a dog in tow and need somewhere warm and welcoming to regroup. The pub fits neatly into a town stroll, offering the kind of indoor refuge that makes an ordinary day out feel doable rather than a damp lead-juggling exercise.

Open Monday to Thursday from midday to 10:30pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to midnight and Sunday from midday to 9pm. No dog treats or water bowls are confirmed, so bring your own if your dog expects room service.
