The Monument is a welcoming pub less than a mile from Whitstable’s town centre, making it a useful stop after a beach wander or a stroll through the town’s lanes. Whether you’re after a quick pint or somewhere to refuel with lunch, it offers a straightforward place to settle in.
Food is served daily, with the kitchen open at lunchtimes and evenings Monday to Saturday, plus Sunday lunch. The pub opens from midday through to 11pm most days, closing a little earlier on Sundays.
Dogs are welcome inside throughout, with water bowls and dog treats available. Sausages can also be ordered for their lunch, so your dog can enjoy something to eat while you tuck into yours.
