The Moon Inn in Mordiford, near Hereford, is a dog-friendly country pub where dogs are welcome inside. That means no pavement waiting while someone nurses a pint alone – paws and people can settle in together for food, real ales and a proper sit-down after a countryside walk.
The pub serves quality food and real ales, with free wifi and a large beer garden for sunnier days or post-meal sniff investigations. It's been run by the same landlord and landlady since 2010, and the pub's own dogs, Bono and Oska, are often around to supervise proceedings.
Whether it's a lunch stop after a riverside ramble or a cosy evening pint with a hopeful nose under the table, The Moon Inn keeps things warm, welcoming and usefully dog-inclusive. There's also a campsite on-site for anyone planning a longer stay with leads and bowls in tow.
Good to know:
Water bowls available

Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement shuffle. Leads on and paws on the floor, please.
