The Nags Head is a family-run traditional village pub right in the heart of Scalby. It has that proper local feel where the atmosphere matters as much as the drinks, and it seems to lean happily into community life with live sport and regular events. A very good fit for a village-pub pause where the dog can settle in like they know half the room.

Dogs are welcome inside at this village pub, which suits Scalby wanders and local pit-stops nicely. A good one for a calm settle and a bit of community eavesdropping.
