A no-pretence pub that does three things extremely well: proper beer, serious whisky, and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel instantly included. Expect craft keg and real ales, plus a whisky selection that can turn a casual drink into an accidental tasting session and a slightly lighter wallet. The vibe is friendly, chatty, and lightly chaotic in the best way, with plenty of laughter and zero pressure to be anyone other than a person holding a pint. It’s perfect after a walk when you want somewhere cosy, or before a night out when you want to start strong. Your dog will enjoy being admired, then promptly fall asleep like they pay rent. If you’re indecisive, the staff can steer you without snobbery. You’ll leave with a new favourite drink and a vague plan to pop back soon. Dogs welcome inside.

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside. Keep them on a lead and under control (no surprise redecoration projects). Bring a comfy settle spot if your pup likes to supervise you in style.
