The Old House at Home

The Old House at Home is a country pub in Chidham, just south of Chichester, where dogs are welcome inside. The open-fire bar area is the dog-friendly heart of the place and food is served throughout the pub, so the whole group can settle in for a proper meal with your table supervisor on duty.

It's open Monday to Saturday from 10:30am to 11pm and Sunday from midday to 8pm, making it a handy stop before or after walks around Chidham and the approach to Chichester Harbour. The cosy, rural feel makes it a good retreat when wet paws and windswept humans need somewhere warm.

Dogs are very welcome and the fire draws both two- and four-legged visitors. It's the kind of pub where your dog can stretch out by the hearth while you sort yourself out with a drink and something to eat.
