The Pack Horse Inn is a classic Keswick pub tucked into Packhorse Court, just off the main shopping streets in the centre of town. Dogs are welcome inside the ground-floor bar area, so the whole group can settle in together after a day on the fells or a wander around the shops.
The kitchen serves food daily from midday until 9pm and the pub is open Monday to Thursday and Sunday from noon until 11pm, staying open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. Robinsons ales on tap, a real fire and a multi-level layout make it a proper stop for walkers and visitors who need somewhere reliable in the heart of the Lake District.
