The Paper Boat Cafe is a lovely riverside café stop by Folly Bridge, set in a beautiful listed old toll house. The café focuses on speciality coffee, freshly baked cakes and sandwiches, and the river-view patio adds exactly the sort of calm backdrop that makes a dog-friendly pause feel properly restorative.
For anyone exploring Oxford on foot, it is a very easy place to slow the pace for a while and let the day breathe a little. Scenic, independent and quietly charming, it is one of those stops that can become a highlight in its own right.
