The Parrot and Punchbowl is a village pub in Aldringham, just a short drive inland from Aldeburgh and useful for a post-walk stop between the coast and Thorpeness. Dogs are welcome inside in the bar and snug bar area, so the whole group can settle in together while someone orders.

Food is served Tuesday to Saturday lunchtimes and evenings and Sunday lunch runs until mid-afternoon. The menu is food-led pub cooking and your dog can sit with you at the table in the dog-friendly areas while you eat.

It's the kind of place that works when you've finished a windy beach walk and nobody fancies sitting outside. Dogs stay in the bar and snug only, but that's enough to keep the logistics simple and the group together.

Good to know:

Water bowls available

Free treats available

Doggy menu available

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside in the bar and snug bar area only. Food is served in the dog-friendly areas, so your dog can supervise from under the table.
