The Pier Inn is a traditional Whitby pub and restaurant on Pier Road, with harbour views, cask ales, home-cooked food, and a location that makes it an easy fit for a town-centre day out. It has a classic, dependable seaside-pub feel, well suited to lunch, dinner, or a drink after walking the front. The outside terrace adds to the appeal when the weather behaves itself, and the whole place feels nicely geared to visitors without losing its pub roots. A very handy Whitby all-rounder for dog-friendly days involving sea air, appetite, and a well-earned sit-down.
