The Playwright is a central Nottingham pub on Shakespeare Street, close to Nottingham Trent University and the Royal Centre. Dogs are welcome inside throughout the pub, including in the dining area and at the bar, making it an easy stop whether you're after food or just a pint with your table supervisor on duty. Food is served daily, with a full menu available until 9pm most evenings and until 8pm on Sundays.
The kitchen opens at 10am on weekends, so you and your lead-holder can settle in early. Water bowls are provided for thirsty paws.
Open Monday to Thursday from 11am to 11pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to midnight and Sunday from 10am to 10pm. It's the sort of neighbourhood pub where your dog can join you properly, no awkward outdoor-only compromises required.
