A beautiful country pub in the village of Horningsea, just outside Cambridge, where things slow down the moment you arrive. Timber-framed and full of character, it blends a more refined dining space at the front with a relaxed, rustic bar at the back — giving you the choice between "proper meal" and "let's just settle in."

Inside, open fires and log burners keep things cosy through the colder months, while outside there's a large garden with views stretching across fields towards the River Cam. It's the kind of setting that quietly turns a quick stop into a full afternoon when the weather plays along.

A strong all-rounder for drinks, lunch, or a longer evening meal. Dogs are welcome in the bar and garden, so you can settle in comfortably whatever the weather decides to do.
