The Plume of Feathers is a welcoming countryside pub-restaurant with rooms in the quiet village of Mitchell, a few miles inland from Newquay. Dogs are welcome in the bar, snug and beer garden, with breakfast, lunch and dinner served in the bar area, so you can enjoy a proper meal together without needing to split up.
The pub is open daily from 7.30am until 11pm, with breakfast served from 8am to 11.30am and lunch and dinner available from midday until 9.30pm. Free on-site parking makes it easy to pull up without circling for a space while juggling leads and bags.
Mitchell sits between Newquay and Truro, making this a useful refuelling stop when exploring the surrounding countryside or breaking up a longer journey. Fresh drinking water and free treats are available from the bar, while overnight stays cost £20 per dog, per night and include the use of a dog bed, bowls and blankets, plus a treat bag.
