A traditional English pub with real depth, serving well-kept ales, global craft beers, and proper home-cooked food in a relaxed, friendly setting. There’s been a pub on this site since the 1880s, with the current building dating from the 1930s — full of character and quietly steeped in history.
Inside, it splits into distinct spaces depending on your mood — from the saloon bar with its real fire, wood panelling, and main dining area, to a more tucked-away public bar with craft beer and a full-size pool table. It’s the kind of place that works whether you’re settling in for food or just easing into a few drinks.
Outside, the courtyard garden adds another layer — with covered, heated seating and a BBQ setup that keeps things ticking over year-round. A proper all-rounder that balances cosy, social, and just enough character to keep things interesting.
Dog Policy:
Dogs welcome on leads in the pub bars and beer garden, but not inside the venue during a live event due to the volume and risk of being trampled.
