The Quayside at Glasson Dock is a dog-welcoming café on the marina in Glasson Dock, just outside Lancaster, where dogs are welcome inside alongside their owners. It's a small, friendly spot with indoor seating and a waterside setting that makes it a natural stopping point for a walk around the dock or a drive out from the city.

The menu covers breakfast, lunch and homemade cakes and the service is relaxed and genuinely welcoming to four-legs. Free off-street parking is available, which takes the stress out of arrival when you've got lead, bags and a dog eager to investigate the boats.

Best combined with a wander around Glasson Dock marina, where there's plenty of sniff-worthy waterfront to explore. It's the kind of café that works for a mid-walk coffee or a proper sit-down meal and you won't need to leave anyone tied up outside.
