The Queen Edith in Cambridge is a modern neighbourhood pub that manages to feel instantly settled-in — the kind of place built for locals but very easy to slot into as a visitor. It's a newer addition to Cambridge's pub scene, but already feels like it's been part of the area for years, and dogs are welcome inside.
Inside, it's bright and spacious with big windows, a wood-burning stove, and a mix of open seating and tucked-away booths depending on your mood. The beer is a real highlight, with a strong line-up from Milton Brewery alongside rotating guests, plus a food offering that leans into solid pub favourites and relaxed evenings.
It's an easy one for post-walk stops that turn into something more — helped by a large outdoor area and a steady calendar of quizzes and casual events. A relaxed, no-fuss spot where everyone can settle in properly, paws included.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside on lead, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle. Just keep pups settled around diners and everyone's happy.
