The Rising Sun is a Broads-side pub in the village of Coltishall, just east of Norwich, where dogs are welcome inside throughout. It's the sort of place where you can settle in with food and a drink without leaving anyone outside and that makes it a practical stop for Broads visitors or anyone walking the riverside paths nearby.

Food is served daily—lunch and dinner Monday to Saturday, with Sunday lunch finishing a little earlier—and there's a relaxed, village-pub feel that works just as well for a quick pint as a longer meal. Dogs can stay with you at the table, so no awkward door-watching or lead-juggling required.

Water bowls are provided and the pub opens from 10am every day, which is useful if you're planning an early start or a late-morning refuel. It's a straightforward, dog-friendly base with rooms available too, if you're spending more time exploring the area.
