The Rushbrooke Arms is a Greene King pub in Sicklesmere on the A134, just south of Bury St Edmunds. Dogs are welcome inside in the bar areas and food is served throughout, so the whole group can settle in together without anyone waiting outside.
The kitchen runs from late morning through to 8:30pm or 9pm depending on the day, covering lunch and dinner with plenty of time in between. It's a straightforward, relaxed stop where dogs on leads can join you at the table while you eat.
Useful if you're passing through or need a proper meal break with your dog on the road. The pub is open every day, with slightly longer hours at weekends and a Sunday close at 9pm. That straightforward access is the detail that turns a quick drink or meal into a genuine break for the whole group.
