The Short Blue in Great Yarmouth is a proper traditional pub with a bit more to it — good food, a solid drinks range, and dogs welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement shuffle after the seaside walk.

Inside, it keeps that classic pub feel, while outside there's a beer garden ready for warmer days and slower afternoons. The food menu and drinks range give it that "stay longer than planned" pull once you're in.

It strikes a nice balance between local pub and all-rounder — somewhere you can drop in for a drink, settle for food, and end up making an afternoon of it with your dog at your feet without really noticing.

Good to know:

Dog Policy:

Dogs are welcome inside, so after the walk, the wander, or the full seaside sniffari, everyone can pile in together and settle near a table.
