Right on the high street, this is a proper traditional pub with a bit more to it — good food, a solid drinks range, and that “stay longer than planned” pull once you’re in.
Inside, it keeps that classic pub feel, while outside there’s a beer garden ready for warmer days and slower afternoons.
It strikes a nice balance between local pub and all-rounder — somewhere you can drop in for a drink, settle for food, and end up making an afternoon of it without really noticing.
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs welcome inside. So after the walk, the wander, or the full seaside sniffari, everyone can pile in together and get on with the important business of settling in near a table and pretending that one little pub stop definitely will not turn into two.

Seen this? It marks our Recommended Partners - places that go that bit further, so dogs feel properly welcome (and you can actually relax)
