The Smugglers

Tucked below street level near the lifeboat station, The Smugglers is Cleethorpes' only cellar pub, and dogs are welcome inside. It's got that slightly hidden, "you have to know it's here" feel, with classic no-frills pub energy where the plan is simple: grab a drink, find a spot, and settle in with your dog beside you.

Inside, it's traditional through and through. Pool tables, a dartboard, and live sport on the screens give it that easy-going, social feel. Food makes an appearance at the weekends, with proper roast dinners and all the trimmings, including a signature gravy that tends to get talked about. The rest of the time, it's very much a drinks-led setup, with familiar pub options and a few offers in the mix.
