The Smugglers' Inn is one of those Robin Hood's Bay pubs that feels completely in tune with the village around it. This 17th-century pub is candlelit, cosy, and full of old-world character, making it a lovely stop for dog owners after a coastal walk, a beach wander, or one too many steep village lanes. Dogs are welcome inside, so nobody needs to do the pavement-waiting shuffle.

With homemade food, stone-baked pizzas, local craft ales, and a snug atmosphere, it offers exactly the kind of indoor refuge that feels especially welcome when the weather turns wild or the legs start protesting.

For visitors bringing a dog to Robin Hood's Bay, it is a warm, atmospheric place to refuel, dry off, and settle in for a while. Very coastal, very comforting, very easy to linger in.

Dogs are welcome inside. Keep dogs close, settled and seawater-shake-free, then let them slide into full snug mode while you get on with important food decisions.
