The South Beach

The South Beach is a welcoming pub in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea where dogs are welcome inside the bar area. It's the kind of place where your sandy spaniel or salty terrier can settle in beside you after a walk along the Northumberland coast and no one bats an eyelid at a few wet paws.

Food is served daily from midday, running until 8pm most evenings and 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays and your dog is more than welcome to supervise proceedings from their spot under the table. The pub opens at 11am seven days a week, so whether you're after lunch, an afternoon pint or an early evening bite, you can bring the whole crew.

Handy for Blyth Beach and the harbour side, The South Beach makes a brilliant stop when you're out exploring the Blyth area with your dog. The bar is open until 11pm Sunday to Thursday and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, giving you plenty of scope for a relaxed visit.
