The Stripey Badger is an independent bookshop with a coffee shop and kitchen, right on The Square in the heart of Grassington. Dogs are welcome inside the coffee-shop and bookshop area, so you can browse the shelves with your lead-tangled companion by your side and settle in for a proper break together.

The bookshop stocks a thoughtful mix of titles, while the coffee shop serves food and drink throughout the day. It's the sort of place that rewards a slow hour, especially when the alternative is leaving someone soggy in the car.

Central village parking is available nearby around The Square and Main Street. The Stripey Badger sits in one of the most central visitor stops in Grassington, making it an easy add to a Dales day out with the dog.
