The Three Tuns is a classic Canterbury pub right in the centre, perfectly placed for a stop-in-and-stay-a-while kind of visit. Dogs are welcome inside, so everyone can settle in together while you refuel. With St Augustine's Abbey just a short walk away and Westgate Towers within easy reach, it fits neatly into a day of exploring without needing to plan too hard.
Food is all about generous, crowd-pleasing pub favourites: burgers, steaks, fish and chips and big sharers that lean firmly into comfort territory. Add in a solid drinks lineup of craft ales, draught beers, wines and spirits, and it's an easy choice whether you're eating or just dropping in for a drink. There's plenty going on too, with live sports on Sky and TNT, plus a beer garden that comes into its own when the sun shows up.
With parking, Wi-Fi and accessible facilities, it's one of those reliable, all-rounder spots that just works for paws and people alike.

Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside, so they can join you while you settle in—ideally claiming a shady spot under the table while you work through the menu. Keep them on a lead and calm.
