The Ticket Office is a quirky bar on Platform 2 at Whitley Bay Metro station, which gives it instant character before the first drink even appears. Known for craft beers, gins, wines, whiskies, live music and outdoor seating with cover overhead, it feels lively, distinctive and a bit more playful than a standard bar stop. It is also notably dog friendly, which makes it an especially handy one for a relaxed drink without splitting the pack.
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside and often join their humans for a drink. Just keep them friendly, controlled and comfortable around other visitors.
