The Travellers Rest is a proper village pub in Skeeby on the A6108, just outside Richmond, where dogs are welcome inside in the main seating area. It's a handy stop for anyone heading in or out of town with the dog and the welcome is genuine: water bowls are out, blankets are provided and there's even underfloor heating to keep paws warm when the weather turns.

Food is served inside where your dog can settle, so you're not choosing between a meal and keeping them with you. The pub has a relaxed feel and the team clearly expect dogs to be part of the mix.

Opening hours run from Wednesday to Sunday, with midday starts Thursday to Sunday and evening-only service on Wednesdays. It's the kind of place that works for a quick pint or a longer stop and the whole group—dog included—can settle in without fuss.
