The Ubiquitous Chip is a classic West End restaurant on Ashton Lane in Glasgow, where dogs are welcome inside all the bars and the Upstairs Brasserie. The main restaurant isn't dog-friendly, but the brasserie serves food daily from noon to midnight, so the whole group can settle in for a proper meal without leaving anyone outside.
The venue is spread across several atmospheric spaces and the dog-friendly areas let you eat, drink and linger as long as you like. It's the kind of place where a post-walk stop can easily turn into an evening and your dog can supervise proceedings from under the table.
Ashton Lane is one of Glasgow's best-loved streets, just off Byres Road in the Hillhead and Kelvingrove neighbourhood. The Ubiquitous Chip makes a brilliant destination for visitors exploring the West End with dogs and it's open late every day of the week.
