Tucked right into the buzz of Cheltenham’s High Street, The Vine is one of those blink-and-you-miss-it pubs that quietly delivers something a bit special. From the outside, it leans traditional. Step inside and it shifts into a cosy, candlelit hideaway where pints meet plates of seriously good Thai food.
The kitchen turns out authentic Thai dishes all week long, cooked fresh and full of flavour, while the bar keeps things equally interesting with craft beers, real ciders, natural wines and a strong line-up of independent spirits. It’s small, lively, and full of character, the kind of place where evenings stretch out longer than planned and nobody’s in a rush to leave.
There’s a relaxed, informal feel to everything here. Board games on the table, drinks flowing, and dogs settled in like they’ve claimed their spot for the night. It’s less “quick stop” and more “we’ll just have one… okay maybe two more.”
Good to know:
Water bowls available
Treats available
Doggy Menu available
Dog Policy:
Dogs are welcome inside. Pub setting, usually a good choice for a relaxed drink with your dog.

Seen this? It marks our Recommended Partners - places that go that bit further, so dogs feel properly welcome (and you can actually relax)
